First-in-Human trial tests custom vaccine for debilitating throat condition
NCT ID NCT07317154
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new, personalized vaccine made from a patient's own immune cells. It aims to see if the vaccine is safe and can trigger an immune response against the virus that causes recurrent, non-cancerous growths in the throat. The study will enroll 9 adults with this condition to monitor for side effects and check if the growths shrink or take longer to return.
