Could your sleep cycle predict dementia? major study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT05977712
Summary
This study aims to understand how a person's daily sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm) and other lifestyle factors might be linked to different types and stages of dementia. Researchers will observe 1,200 patients from memory clinics in Paris, collecting data on sleep, activity, and health markers. The goal is to identify patterns that could help doctors screen for dementia earlier in primary care settings and understand what influences the disease's progression over many years.
