Summary
This study tested a new training program and tool for hospice nurses and social workers to improve care for patients with dementia. Researchers wanted to see if this training was practical to use and if it helped reduce stress for family caregivers. The study involved 93 participants, including clinicians and family members caring for Black and White patients in home hospice.
