Liver transplant survival: a simple score may predict who lives longer
NCT ID NCT07570901
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at 446 adults who received a first liver transplant to see if changes in their MELD score (a measure of liver disease severity) could predict survival. The goal was to better understand which patients are at higher risk after transplant, especially those with severe disease. The findings could help doctors make more informed decisions about organ allocation and patient care.
