Summary
This study tests whether providing extra money specifically for healthy foods during pregnancy can help prevent too much weight gain and related problems like high blood pressure and diabetes. About 1,440 pregnant women will either get standard care or extra funds (up to $3,000) to buy nutritious foods. The goal is to see if this simple support leads to healthier pregnancies and better outcomes for both mother and baby.
