French hospital aims to uncover hidden danger in Kids' ICU

NCT ID NCT04954261

Summary

This study aimed to translate an English tool for detecting delirium into French and test how well it works in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The goal was to see how often delirium occurs in critically ill children and whether nurses and staff could easily use the new French version. The study was observational, meaning it only involved monitoring and assessing children, not providing a new treatment, and it was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
