Summary
This study looked at whether pushing back high school start times helps teenagers get more sleep, feel less sleepy during the day, and improve their mental health and grades. Over 500 Norwegian first-year high school students took part. Researchers compared sleep patterns, daytime sleepiness, anxiety, depression, and school performance between those with later versus earlier start times.
