First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study measures how much of the antibiotic delafloxacin gets into the blood and infected tissues of 20 adults with serious skin, bone, or joint infections. Participants continue their prescribed treatment while researchers collect blood samples and small tissue samples during planned surgery. The goal is to understand how well the drug penetrates different tissues and whether factors like age or kidney function affect its levels.
