Gel offers hope to clear HPV and avoid surgery
NCT ID NCT05509413
Summary
This study tested a vaginal gel called DEFLAGYN to see if it could help clear abnormal cervical cells and high-risk HPV infections. It involved 242 women with unclear Pap smear results. The goal was to provide a non-surgical treatment option to help the body clear these issues on its own, potentially avoiding a surgical procedure.
