Can a hug in a vest soothe kids waking from surgery?
NCT ID NCT06966466
Summary
This study is testing if a gentle, squeezing vest can help calm children who get upset and agitated when waking up from anesthesia after tonsil surgery. Researchers will compare 94 children aged 3-10 who wear the special vest after surgery to those who receive standard care. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to make recovery from surgery easier for kids.
