Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called deep TMS can help veterans with alcohol use disorder drink less or stay sober. Eight veterans in treatment received the therapy, and researchers checked their drinking habits 6 months later. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce relapse and heavy drinking days.
