NCT ID NCT05317754
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests four different meditation practices—mindful breathing, prostrations, the Koan Mu, and a mirror exercise—to see how they affect well-being and self-awareness. About 240 healthy adults with meditation experience will take part. The goal is to understand if these deconstructive techniques can improve happiness and mental health.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward new meditation-based approaches to improve happiness and well-being, and potentially help prevent or treat mental health conditions.
