New tool aims to ease tough decisions for parents of children with complex scoliosis
NCT ID NCT07167927
Summary
This study is testing a new decision support tool designed to help parents, children, and doctors make better, more informed choices about surgery for a severe type of scoliosis. It will compare the tool against usual care for 110 families to see if it improves decision quality and reduces uncertainty. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future trial and understand how to best implement the tool in real clinics.
