First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study is testing a new decision support tool for parents and doctors of children with neuromuscular scoliosis (a curved spine due to nerve or muscle problems). About 110 parent-child pairs will either use the tool or receive usual care. The goal is to see if the tool helps families make clearer, more confident surgery decisions and to gather information for a larger future study.
