NCT ID NCT07150182
Summary
This study tests a structured support program for family members who must decide whether to start emergency dialysis for a critically ill loved one with sudden kidney failure. It aims to see if the program improves the decision-making process and reduces family members' feelings of conflict, regret, anxiety, and depression. Researchers will compare outcomes between family members who receive the new support program and those who receive standard hospital care.
