First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving patients with hand conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome or trigger finger extra decision aids helps them feel more satisfied and less uncertain about their treatment. About 126 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the usual brochures or more detailed decision aids. The goal is to see if better information leads to better decisions and outcomes.
