What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a new treatment option for advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy.
What could go wrong
This is an early phase 1 trial with a small number of participants, so the drug may not prove effective or may have unexpected side effects. It is too early to know if it will benefit patients.
