NCT ID NCT06448637

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for coronary artery disease in large blood vessels (≥3.5 mm): a drug-coated balloon and a drug-eluting stent. About 94 adults with heart artery blockages will be randomly assigned to one treatment. The main goal is to see which approach better preserves the artery's natural ability to relax and contract after 8 months, while also checking for re-narrowing.
