NCT ID NCT07269119

Summary

This study is testing a therapy program specifically adapted for Deaf adults who use American Sign Language (ASL) and are struggling with alcohol use. The program, called DeafMET, is based on a proven therapy but uses visual materials and ASL to be more accessible. Researchers will work with 30 Deaf participants to see if the program is practical, acceptable, and helps people feel more ready to change their drinking habits.
