New exercise regimen may ease thumb pain better than standard therapy

Summary
This study looks at 134 adults with De Quervain's disease, a painful thumb condition. All participants receive a steroid injection guided by ultrasound. Then, one group does standard physical therapy while the other does special eccentric exercises. The goal is to see which approach reduces pain and improves hand function better.
