NCT ID NCT06742008

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether certain antibodies in the blood can predict if patients with acute viral myocarditis (heart inflammation caused by a virus) will develop dilated cardiomyopathy (a weakened, enlarged heart). Researchers will follow 300 patients over time, measuring these antibodies and tracking heart health. The goal is to find early warning signs that could lead to better monitoring and treatments.
