Radiation before surgery: a new test for early breast cancer
NCT ID NCT03909282
Summary
This study is testing whether giving radiation before surgery works better than surgery alone for a very early form of breast cancer called DCIS. Researchers will compare tissue samples from 50 women to see if the radiation-first approach can completely eliminate the cancer cells before surgery. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future study.
