Lab-grown immune cells take on lung cancer in new trial

NCT ID NCT07202611

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether specially grown immune cells (dendritic and natural killer cells) from a patient's own blood are safe for treating advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Ten participants who have already tried at least two standard treatments will receive the cells through injections into a lymph node and a vein. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also measuring how well the cells can kill cancer cells.
