NCT ID NCT06747650

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a therapy called dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is helpful and acceptable for teens aged 14–17 with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). Nine teens and their caregivers took part in a program that included individual therapy, group skills training, and phone coaching. The goal was to see if this approach could improve emotion regulation and reduce behavioral problems, and to learn how to run a larger study in the future.
