New cancer drug enters human testing for nine tough tumor types

Summary

This is the first study in people testing a new experimental drug called DAY301 for advanced cancers that have spread. Researchers will give increasing doses to about 254 patients with specific advanced solid tumors to find the safest dose and see if the drug shows early signs of fighting the cancer. The main goals are to understand the side effects and how the body processes the drug.
