Summary

This research follows over 1,500 people for more than a decade to identify what factors increase or decrease the risk of gun access and use in dating relationships. The study combines surveys, interviews, and official records to understand why some people carry or use firearms in dating situations. Findings will help create better prevention programs and inform policies about dating violence and gun safety.
