Can a Heart-Healthy diet tame rheumatoid arthritis?
NCT ID NCT07170033
Summary
This study tested whether following the DASH diet, a plan known for lowering blood pressure, could help people with rheumatoid arthritis. For 12 weeks, 49 participants either followed the DASH diet or ate as usual. Researchers measured changes in joint pain, inflammation, and daily function to see if the diet could help control the disease.
