First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a patient decision aid (PDA) for people who have had a heart attack, received stents, and are at high risk for both bleeding and blood clots. The PDA helps patients understand their treatment options for blood-thinning medications and make a choice that fits their values. 26 patients and their doctors will use the tool to see if it reduces confusion and improves knowledge.
