NCT ID NCT05986136
Summary
This trial is testing whether dapagliflozin, a medication currently used for diabetes, can help control ulcerative colitis. Researchers will give the drug to 50 adults with mild-to-moderate disease to see if it reduces gut inflammation and symptoms like diarrhea and abdominal pain. The goal is to see if this existing drug offers a new way to manage this chronic condition.
