Summary
This study tests whether dapagliflozin, a drug already used for diabetes, can help control symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) like diarrhea and belly pain. Researchers will enroll 50 adults with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis to see if the drug reduces gut inflammation. The goal is to manage the disease, not cure it.
