Summary
This study tests if dapagliflozin, a drug used for diabetes and heart failure, can help treat anemia in people with a low-risk form of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Anemia causes tiredness and often requires blood transfusions. The study will give 37 adults the drug daily for 24 weeks to see if it raises hemoglobin levels and reduces the need for transfusions.
