First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug dapagliflozin can help control blood sugar highs and lows in people who have had bariatric surgery, both with and without type 2 diabetes. About 30 participants will wear a continuous glucose monitor to track their sugar levels while taking the drug or not. The goal is to see if the drug reduces dangerous sugar spikes and dips and improves overall diabetes control.
