First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether eating 100 grams of legumes (like beans or lentils) every day for two weeks can improve blood sugar, cholesterol, and gut health in healthy adults. Half of the 50 participants will eat fermented legumes, and the other half will eat unfermented ones. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if fermentation adds extra benefits.
