First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study follows 140 female dancers aged 11-16 who have scoliosis (a curved spine) and dance at least three times a week. Researchers will check their muscles, bones, flexibility, and spine every six months for three years. Some dancers will also do a special core-strengthening exercise program to see if it helps. The goal is to understand how puberty affects their bodies and whether exercise can make a difference.
