NCT ID NCT06879652

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether eating three servings of dairy each day (milk, yogurt, cheese) can improve body weight, body composition, and blood sugar in overweight adolescents (ages 15-18) and older adults (ages 60-80). Over six months, participants are randomly assigned to either a high-dairy or low-dairy diet and meet regularly with a dietitian. The goal is to see if dairy can help prevent obesity and related metabolic problems.
