Scientists track cystic fibrosis patients to crack code of dangerous lung Flare-Ups

Summary
This UK study aims to understand why some people with cystic fibrosis respond better than others to standard antibiotic treatments during severe lung flare-ups. Researchers will follow 200 participants who are at risk of these flare-ups, collecting samples and tracking their recovery during hospital treatment. The goal is to gather information that could help design better future treatments to prevent these debilitating episodes.
