First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compared a new 3D-printed bike saddle with two popular racing saddles to see how they affect blood oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the penis. Fourteen elite male road cyclists rode on a stationary trainer while sensors measured these gases. The goal was to understand which saddle design might reduce penile numbness and improve blood flow.
