First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested 14 elite male road cyclists to see how different bike saddle designs affect oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the penis while riding a stationary trainer. The goal was to compare a new 3D-printed saddle with two popular racing saddles. The findings help understand which saddle design may reduce the risk of numbness or blood flow issues.
