Brain cancer trial tests quicker, gentler radiation approach
NCT ID NCT05378633
Summary
This study is comparing two different radiation treatments for patients with 4-15 brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain). It aims to see if a more targeted, shorter treatment (CyberKnife radiosurgery) is as effective as the standard whole-brain radiation, while potentially causing fewer side effects and better preserving quality of life. The main goals are to measure how long patients live and how well they feel during and after treatment.
