New pill tested to slow Parkinson's progression
NCT ID NCT06006247
Summary
This study tested a new oral medication, CVN424, to see if it could help control the symptoms of early Parkinson's disease in people not yet taking standard treatments. Over 12 weeks, 64 participants were randomly assigned to take either the drug or a placebo pill. The main goal was to measure changes in movement, daily function, and overall disease severity.
