First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether ankle replacements custom-designed from a patient's own CT scans work better than standard implants. About 24 adults with ankle arthritis will receive either a personalized or standard prosthesis. Researchers will measure bone alignment, patient satisfaction, and costs to see if the custom approach leads to better results.
