Custom-Fit jaw plates aim for perfect repair
NCT ID NCT07231042
Summary
This study tested whether custom-made titanium plates, designed from a patient's CT scan, work better than standard plates for fixing broken jawbones. Ten adults with jaw fractures had surgery using these custom plates. Researchers checked if the custom plates led to more accurate bone alignment, less pain, and better healing over six months.
