App vs. standard dose: race to clear dangerous virus in sick kids

Summary
This study is testing if using a web app to calculate a custom dose of the antiviral drug ganciclovir works better than the standard fixed dose for children with weakened immune systems who have a CMV virus infection. Researchers will compare how many children in each group clear the virus within six weeks. The trial involves about 232 children across hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.
