3D-Printed masks offer new hope for kids struggling with breathing therapy
NCT ID NCT07391150
Summary
This study is testing custom-made, 3D-printed masks and headgear for children who need overnight breathing support at home. Many children, especially those with facial differences, struggle with standard masks that don't fit well, causing leaks, skin sores, and poor sleep. Researchers will compare the new custom masks to the children's current masks to see if they are more comfortable, fit better, and improve the effectiveness of their breathing therapy.
