New pill tested to tame debilitating hormone disorder

NCT ID NCT03774446

Summary

This study is testing whether a 4-week course of an oral drug called seliciclib is safe and can help control the excess hormone production in adults with Cushing disease. It will involve about 13 people whose disease is newly diagnosed, has come back, or didn't go away after previous treatment. Researchers will measure hormone levels and check for side effects to see if the drug helps manage the condition.
