NCT ID NCT06886035
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether curcuminoids, the active compounds in turmeric, can reduce pain after a minimally invasive hysterectomy. 126 women who had the surgery took curcuminoids or a placebo. The main goal was to measure pain levels 24 hours after surgery using a standard pain scale. If effective, curcuminoids could offer a low-cost, natural option for managing postoperative pain.
