Turmeric-Based gel challenges standard steroid treatment for chronic mouth condition

Summary
This study compares a natural turmeric-based gel to a standard steroid paste for treating painful mouth sores caused by oral lichen planus. Researchers want to see if the natural option works as well as the steroid treatment, which can have side effects with long-term use. Thirty adults with confirmed oral lichen planus will use one of the treatments for four weeks while their symptoms and satisfaction are tracked.
