NCT ID NCT03935958

Summary

This study is testing whether curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, can help people who have received a kidney transplant. Kidney transplant patients have a high risk of heart disease and often experience memory and thinking problems. Researchers want to see if taking curcumin can improve blood vessel health, reduce body-wide inflammation, and protect cognitive function in these patients.
