Turmeric extract tested as potential shield against prostate cancer comeback

Summary
This study is testing whether taking curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, can help prevent prostate cancer from returning after surgery. The trial will enroll 650 men who have had their prostate removed and have undetectable PSA levels. Participants will take either curcumin or a placebo pill daily to see if curcumin improves how long they stay cancer-free.
