First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a culturally adapted psychoeducation program (CaPE) for 303 adults with bipolar disorder in Pakistan who were currently stable. Participants were randomly assigned to receive CaPE plus their usual care or just usual care alone. The goal was to see if CaPE could delay the return of mood episodes and improve quality of life. The program was designed to be practical for low-resource settings.
