Summary

This study tested a culturally adapted psychoeducation program (CaPE) for people with bipolar disorder in Pakistan. 303 adults in remission were randomly assigned to receive CaPE plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal was to see if CaPE could reduce the time to a mood episode and improve quality of life. The program was designed to be practical in low-resource settings.
